In-school Programming

Be YourSELF is a multi-modal workshop series using theatre games and mindfulness activities to enhance social-emotional skills including self-awareness, self-management, relationship building, and conflict resolution.

Recommended for grades 2–5.

Students learn the adaptation process from “page-to-stage” as they dramatize scenes from a book and bring their scripts to life on stage.

Recommended for grades K–8.

Bring award-winning improv right into your school with this brand-new, assembly-style performance! The teens from the Young Professionals Company’s improv troupe Impulse come to you with a hilarious performance complete with student involvement and audience interaction, followed by a workshop where kids (and teachers!) can learn skills to use on or off the stage.

Recommended for grades 3–12.

The SPIDER Impact Tour’s mission is to bring meaningful and authentic teen works to high schools, to facilitate important conversations around topics that matter to teens, and to support ongoing mental health needs of young adults. Written by an alumni of the YP Company, this powerful new play about iPad kids, collective trauma, and what we trust AI to do will stick with you long after the final bows.

Recommended for grades 9–12.

OCT’s Professional Development Program offers a variety of engaging, interactive, arts-based workshops for educators and faculty that provide in-depth learning techniques to deepen their understanding of SEL-based skills—such as mindfulness and neurodiversity in the classroom—so they can effectively manage their classrooms while also providing students a safe space in which to thrive.
